I'm a huge UK fan and agree that the '96 club was one of the all time greats. However to dismiss the UCLA teams of '68 or '72 as not even in the arena is either insane or "youthful." Those UCLA teams had just as much talent as the '96 squad and played a fullcourt press that wore teams down. That's not mentioning the Alcindor - Walton part.

Think about it. The '72 Bruins had Walton, Keith Wilkes (aka Jammal Wilkes of Warrior and Lakers fame), Henry Bibby (76ers Starter) among others who played in the NBA.

I am a passionate Big Blue fan but not so blinded to make those assumptions.

:thumb:You are right my friend. I don't disagree with you, just mis-understood. When I said "almost" , all I mean by that is that there are an extremely small amount of teams that have a chance at comparing. I agree with you though, those teams are very comparable and on any given night anything could happen. I just meant imo they are the best all around team that played together for an entire season.

I once was blinded but now I see. ;)
