cvillecat
Former Paintsville standout pitcher, Shane Grimm signed to play college baseball with Walters State Community College. Walters State, located in Morristown Tenn. is no stranger to a winning tradition. The Senators won the 2006 Junior College World Series and finished last season with a record of 55-9. In the June MLB draft, six players from Walters State were drafted. Grimm's high school pitching coach Walt Crace also attented Walters State. Grimm is currently a member of Ashland Post 76 American Legion team. Congratulations to S. Grimm. I hope he has a great career.:thumb:

ROLLTIDE
Congratulation Shane. Really enjoyed helping coach Shane this past summer. He is a class act and plays the game with a lot of heart. Walter State is getting a very talented player who will give you his best effort everytime he laces up his spikes. Shane also listens well. He's the type of player that if you tell him to do something he will try thumbwithout any questions ask. So, Shane from all of us associated with Post 76 baseball, good luck and keep in touch. We wish you all the success College baseball brings your way.:thumb:
