June 30, 200818 yr I would take TJ over Welker. TJ is a stud no doubt about it and that is a good argument. I still think Welker is a bigger mismatch in the slot position myself though. They are both at the top of the list though.

June 30, 200818 yr TJ isn't a slot receiver anyway, is he? When they had Henry he was, and he probably will be this year with Simpson.
June 30, 200818 yr Author When they had Henry he was, and he probably will be this year with Simpson. But, he's not a "slot" receiver the way most people view the position...TJ is a #2 WR. The Bengals may line him up in the slot when they go to a 3-wide (or more) formation for matchup reasons, certain plays, etc., but when they are in a basic formation of 2 WR's, TJ is the #2 guy without question. Henry is the guy who went to the sideline when Cincy dropped to two WR's. The same can't be said for Welker. In New England, he was the slot guy, all the time. In a two wide receiver formation, they'd be more apt to leave Moss and Stallworth on the field.
July 1, 200818 yr Alstott is retired, so that probably doesn't work. Love the way Lorenzo Neal plays at FB, he'd be a huge FA get here late in the game. I'll add some that haven't been said yet. OG- Alan Faneca OT- Walter Jones MLB- Patrick Willis, Brian Urlacher OLB- Demarcus Ware, Lance Briggs FS- Bob Sanders SS- Troy Polamalu Completely forgot he did my bad.
July 1, 200818 yr QB: Brady WR: Moss RB: LT TE: Antonio Gates S: Ed Reed DE: Julius Peppers Corner: Champ Bailey LB: Urlacher & Merriman

July 2, 200818 yr QB: Peyton Manning RB: Ladanian Tomlinson WR: Randy Moss TE: Antonio Gates OT: Walter Jones OG: Steve Hutchinson C: Jeff Saturday DE: Osi Umenyiora DT: Tommie Harris LB: Patrick Willis, Shawn Merriman CB: Champ Bailey S: Ed Reed Great minds think alike! My post: QB- Peyton Manning RB- Ladanian Tomlinson WR- Randy Moss TE- Antonio Gates OT- Orlando Pace (when he is healthy) OG- Steve Hutchinson OC- Jeff Saturday DT- Tommie Harris (when he is healthy) DE- Osi Umenyora MLB- Brian Urlacher OLB- Shawn Merriman CB- Champ Bailey SS- Bob Sanders FS- Ed Reed K- Adam Vinatieri P- Shane Lechler KR- Devin Hester I'm surprised at the love for Patrick Willis. I think he will be the best, but he has only done it for one year.
July 2, 200818 yr I'll tell you a guy we have left off that I think is a great LBer is Lofa Tutupa in Seattle. Ray Lewis has seen has best days pass him by and so has Derrick Brooks (he's still got a little in the tank though). Those two have been two of the better LBers of this generation at least though. Rondae Barber is the same way at corner. The Bucs have some good young talent on defense.
