I would do just about anything for 10 million a year. He gets to play a game that millions others wish they could.

When teams start having this perception...."and they wonder about his passion to play and drive to be a championship player"....It's difficult to shake that label, true or not.

Has his game improved over the years in any aspect?Seems to me he stays mostly the same.He could have worked on his game and became a better hitter but he hasn't.He is content to put up his numbers and draw his paycheck.If any team pays him what he wants on his next contract they are nuts.A lot of these players once they get to the bigs and get a multiyear contract lay down.I think they should be paid by what they produce year to year.I know that will never happen.:irked:
