June 17, 200818 yr Bring me back steak from Macguire's. I love Macguires, I wish it was on the beach. I also like Capt.Dave's for seafood and the Back Porch for cold beer and munchies. We are going to Cape San Blas in July, it's about 20 miles east of Panama City.
June 19, 200818 yr Author While down at the beach today there was a outbreak stinging going on...:irked: Im not sure if it was Jellyfish...It was like running into a swarm of Mosquitoes under water...I thought it was just me until everyone else was getting bit... It's all good...We have a nice Pool...The wife and I went to a local Restaurant called the Lighthouse...Our Favorite...It's a must for us when we visit here... The wife is not a fan of Seafood So she has the 10 oz New York Strip Teriyaki steak... I love seafood so I have the No fish Platter...Gulf Shrimp,Scallops and Crab cake...Yum...The Lighthouse is a very nice restaurant...Kind of dark but not to dark with candles on all the tables...The service is always outstanding...Now here is the best part...From 4:30-8.00 they have a half price menu... We get there to eat a 5:00...So that is 6:00 est...My bill came to $32.00...So if We had gone out to eat after 8:00 that Meal would have been $64:00...Not trying to be cheap here but smart...So if any of you come to Destin please eat at the Lighthouse...
