Sr/JR allstar game 6-9-08 @ Fieldhouse

Who were the juniors that were at the U.K. Elite camp?

Jr. All-Stars at Camp were Hood, Phares, Jenkins, Penny, Ferguson, and Jones. I believe Sanford was there also. Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong. That is why the starters included Wilford, Ballou, Middleton, and Downing. They had at least practiced together on Monday morning in Louisville before Monday's game. Sanford was the other starter and like I said I can't remember if he was at camp or not. The others were dead tired, but in the 2d half Jenkins somehow got a 2d wind and played really well hitting two treys in a row and scoring 8 points in about a 3 minute span. Phares shot well the first half, but then Richie's legs went in the second half. Same thing with Ferguson. He hit a three and a spinning fall away in the lane in the first 10 minutes of the game and after that he was cooked. Juniors should play better with some rest on Wednesday evening.

Tyshawn Edmonson from University Heights Academy was definitely talented enough to make the cut. Any reason given for him not playing with the All-Stars?

I'm going to try and catch the next scrimmage at Lexington Catholic, but had a few contingencies.

I'm assuming the Morris in the boxscore is Aaron Morris, but didn't know if it was the Muhlenburg North or Madison Central stand-out.

Also, could someone give me a brief of Wilford, Penny, and Sorrell's games? I assume that each of the three can play as well as any of the other individuals (Penny attended the BG Elite Camp), but was wondering about height, position, strengths, and weaknesses at the next level.

Jenkins has really stepped up his game. He is a workaholic at his game and it shows. Even when he is tired he can still perform at a high level.

This year he will excel for Manual, taking them to the 7th region championship. Ulike last year, the 08/09 team will work to get him the ball instead of worrying about their own stats. This alone will make a big difference for Manual. Who can stop Jenkins in the 7th?
