June 4, 200818 yr I don't expect anything less from our current leadership. Everyone knows how arrogant and ignorant they are after 8 years. Well, I did anyway after the first term. But then again why should we have to be scared to say anything harmless. There is always someone offended.
June 4, 200818 yr Really? Have you forgotten the incident with Sen. Leahy?I have not forgotten. I thought Cheney showed great restraint. Cheney was just responding to allegations that Leahy was too cowardly to make to Cheney's face. I would vote for Cheney for president in a heartbeat.
June 5, 200818 yr And that was an appropriate thing to say in the U. S. Senate? It doesn't take much intelligence or character to use profanity, anybody can do that. I expect more from the Vice President of the United States. Oops, my mistake.

Oops, my mistake.I did not say it was appropriate but it was certainly no less appropriate than the character assassination in which the weasley coward Leahy did outside of Cheney's presence. At least Cheney was man enough to insult Leahy to his face.
