Arizona leads 2-0, in the top 4th. Lovett now pitching for the 'Cats.

Its now 4-0 Arizona

The Cats are going to have to get some runs on the board, or this is going to be a sad ending to a good season.

I spoke too soon. Cowgill hits a solo HR to lead off the next inning. Its now 4-1.

It's only bottom of 4th and anything can happen.

Yeah, especially in college baseball, but I don't want to be too many more runs down to a team like 'zona.

There's a walk. The Cats have a runner on 1st with nobody out. Go Cats!

Bullpen will have to play a vital role in this one.

There's an error. Now runners on 1st and 2nd with nobody out. Would be nice to get a couple right here.

Well, nevermind. Back-to-back strikeouts to ruin that inning. That one might come back to hurt the Cats later.

4-2 AZ...7th inning

Its now 5-2 heading into the bottom of the 8th. Its now or never for the Cats.

I'll go out on a limb though and predict that the Wildcats will win this game.

Ya think. LOL

Bottom of the 8th, 1 out, runner on 2nd and Cowgill up. AZ making a pitching change. Lets go Cats!

AZ 5

U.K. 2

Ground out, runner to 3rd, 2 outs.

Spear up......Double! 5-3 AZ. AZ making pitching change.

5-3 Cats in the 8th after an RBI double

Just missed the 2-run HR.
