I agree, body wise Blake looked great. He looked alot faster, he cut better than before. He's lost 27 lbs total since the last gm at Pulaski Co. in the playoffs. I last saw him tuesday night at the passing scrimmage.

 

I really feel like Bowling's go to guy will be Jake Cobb a 5-10 170lb senior.

I agree his height may keep him out of division 1, but how do you figure his arm is below average, have you not seen the kid throw a out pattern.

I think Ricky Bowling and Zack Lewis could be in the hunt for Mr. football if either or both make a deep run in the playoffs, that would be great for mountain football.

It will be tough for South Laurel to make a deep run in the playoffs and it's going to be tough to just make the playoffs in 5A.

Possible D-1 type player if he was a little taller. He is one of the top 3 QB's in the mountains.

I agree, but if it happens Bowling would have a outside chance to win Mr. football. This could be the best South Laurel team since 1999, so I feel like they make the playoffs, but a deep run will be tough.

I think you could be right, my guess is a small 1AA to alot of NAIA schools that love to throw it will give him a shot.

EKU may give him a shot, I like the new coach ALOT more than the previous guy. I think he will recruit Kentucky more, he also seems more approachable.
