I just saw on CNN that Ted Kennedy has been rushed to a hospital with possible stroke like symptoms.

Has been a bastion and champion for civil rights and social equality in this country. Hopefully, he will be okay.

Not original at all. I've seen that one on numerous conservative sites. Some may feel that "real classy" offering on a thread about a possible stroke, but I put nothing past conservative hacks. Plus, I don't mind political incorrectness.So, knock yourself out. Just a little more original next time...

I will take no joy from Ted Kennedy's situation because I am sure that his family includes many decent people who will be affected but I honestly cannot generate much sympathy for the man himself. However, I will forego the Ted Kennedy jabs and jokes until Kennedy recovers or until after a reasonable time after his funeral if he does not survive.

There is no rule against personal attacks against non-members and to my knowledge, Kennedy is not a member (but I am).

Senator Kennedy had surgery on his neck last fall because doctors were worried that the artery was almost completely closed and it would cause a stroke.

I started this thread just to give out info about Senator Kennedy's condition. I didn't intend for it to get into this political fighting. I'm almost sorry I did now.
