I'm almost positive Smart Travel is the same company that you see in the malls giving away the cars. If possible, find out what hotels you will be staying at. They'll usually give 2 or 3 per city, but you have no say in which one you'll get booked into. There's also the possibility that you're too young to stay in some of them.

I was thinking the same thing... It'd be sweet to get something out of the deal though.

Watch the South park episode about free trips/seminars.

After reading those reviews, I'd stay as far away as possible.

And those reviews remind me of the South Park episode a lot...

I've won a few nights in Gattlinburg for sitting through the high pressure pitch. I had it in my mind I was saying no even if they offered me the farm. They offered me the farm, it was tempting but I stuck to my guns!

We also won a trip to the Myan Riviera. It was all inclusive to a pimp resort for free + airfaire. It was legit and a great trip. No strings attached, no sales pitch etc. I just got back from Ft Laudy/Key Biscane/Miami and one place tried to pull the sales pitch for free dining etc. I passed.

Sounds like a time share to me even if they said it wasn't!

What company was this?

We won the Myan Riviera through a raffle so I don't know that it was a company.

Fort Lauderdale was a timeshare through Fairfield.

Gattlinberg was through Blue/Green I think (timeshare deal).

They said it's not a time share and the name of the company is Smart Travel.

I got on their list somehow a couple of months ago, said I entered a contest at Cincy Mills, funny thing is I never entered anything there.
