April 30, 200818 yr Author Your vehicle isn't red is it ? I read somewhere that red cars stand out more and are pulled more often than any other color. Nope. Tan.
April 30, 200818 yr Just go and pay the fine. Don't waste your traffic school. The same thing happened to me in Wolfe county back a few months ago and they didn't give me a fee schedule either. So I called the courthouse and she told me that I could pay $125 for court costs and waste a Wednesday night sitting in traffic school, of I could pay $130 (court cost and a $5 fine) and be done with it, since I wouldn't lose any points.
April 30, 200818 yr My advice. Go to court, and plead not guilty. Very often they will drop a ticket of 10 mph or less, over the speed limit. Either way, I would always go to court. You can still pay the ticket, or go to traffic school at that time. Risky. I went one time to court and the guy in front of me did that and the judge got irritated  with him for not fessing up. He made him pay the entire fine (max). I went up and say I was guilty and sorry  ...he reduced mine by $50 bucks. But it all depends on the judge and where you fall in line. If you are one of the last ones, they seem not to have any patience left!
April 30, 200818 yr Author I think I am just going to pay the fine and be done with it. I went to court one other time for a traffic offense about 10-12 years ago (I had a tinted cover over my license plate). The judge was a crazy old kook. He asked me what I did with the license plate cover and I told him I took it off my car and threw it away. He then proceeded to bark at me to not smart off at him in his courtroom. He then made the baliff walk outside with me to visually verify that the tinted cover was not my car. He ended up throwing the ticket out, but he was still a wacky old man.
