I am hearing that Travis Ford of Oklahoma State and Bob Huggins of West Virginia were very, very interested late in the process.

Congrats to Setty, I can see him being in the Silverhorn mold for Gtown.

Anyone that thinks that Trevor can't bulk up much has never seen his dad! A red-shirt year with work in the weightroom and at the training table could make Trevor something special.

 

He is ultra-competitive and at 6'7" with the shooting touch he has he will be very difficult to guard in a couple of years and 20 pounds of muscle.

 

I had hoped he would walk on at UK--I think his "upside" is huge!

I was glad T Setty went to G-Town. I really dont think he would have played any at all at UK.

I don't think Setty will be able to bulk up very much,but every little bit will help.

 

 

His dad was small when he graduated high school, but when he went to college put some weight on him (he is pretty big). I look for Trevor to put on some weight. He has a huge upside.

Im with you. All I have heard was this kid was going to end up in the Big East or the SEC, but he ends up in the Mid South Conference. That is a big difference. Im a homer for my team as much as anybody else, but Im still a realist. I have always thought Setty was a nice player, but never thought he was good enough for a major conference.

Does anyone know what happened to NKU's interest in Setty? I thought for sure he was headed to the Norse.

For a kid like Trevor, who absolutely loves the game and wears it on his sleeve and is really refreshing to watch, it amazes me that so many people need to have such negativity.

I was third on this thread to wish Trevor the best at Georgetown College and that I would be there to watch him play when I could. He has already signed with a school so why carry this on about where he could have gone. I may not be an expert on basketball but I do know when you get an offer , take it. As far as a so called "walk on offer" ,that's about like working in a factory without pay.
