BGP NFL Mock Draft

New Orleans selects

Fred Davis TE USC

Buffalo OTC

I think they trade that pick for Shockey. If they don't and Keller is on the board then they should jump on him.

The 49ers select Calais Campbell- DE from The U

NO is on the clock!

Is that the big 6'8 kid? He is a very interesting prospect if so!

Buffalo selects - Dustin Keller - TE (Purdue)

Denver OTC

I'm interested to hear what you think of RP's pick of Malcolm Kelly for the Gi'nts...

On a side note, if KC ends up with Sed Ellis, Otah, and Flacco in their first three picks they can already label the draft a success...

The Kelly pick wouldn't surprise me. The Giants and GM Jerry Reese will not draft based on need alone. If there is a great player available he'll take him (*See Mathias Kiwanuka). Marc Ross is running the Giants draft this year, but I'd say Reese will have a lot of input. If Kelly is there I'm sure he will be considered. Toomer is getting old and Plaxico won't be around forever. Kelly and Steve Smith could make a great tandem in the future.

There are some problems with Kelly though, mainly his speed. He hasn't performed well in workouts.

Other players the Giants will consider:

LB Jerod Mayo

S Kenny Phillips

CB Antoine Cason

WR Limas Sweed

WR James Hardy

S Dajaun Morgan

CB Aqib Talib

I would have to think the Giants would be pleased if Kelly was there.

I think Kelly might slip into round 2.

Tyrell Johnson S Ark St.

Carolina OTC

I think so, he has long arms and an NFL body. He has been very inconsistent at Miami, though.

Carolina selects Curtis Lofton- LB Oklahoma.

Chicago is on the clock!

Chicago selects- Chris Johnson RB from ECU

I went off my board, but I think they will go RB, just not another U of Texas RB.

Lions are on the clock!

Just because it's the Lions, they will select

Mario Manningham WR Michigan

Bengals OTC

Bengals select Bryan Kehl - LB BYU

Vikings up

The Vikings select Jordy Nelson- WR from Kansas St.

The Falcons are on the clock for the fourth time in the first two rounds...they should get an influx of new talent from this draft. Good job by their GM in stockpiling picks. They will definately have the ammunition to move back into the First Round.

Had I been picking for the Bengals, Nelson would of been my pick.

Well nothing against the pick but if the Bengals go to the same position with their first two picks the fan base will be outraged... Defense or not...
