April 14, 200818 yr Those people didn't know much. He was a 6'4" PF out of HS, and has done a good job developing his game on the perimeter. He could have used another year of work, but someone will take him in the 1st... :thumb: A much more polished player now compared to when he was coming out of high school. He dominated high school on athleticism alone.
April 14, 200818 yr No surprise here. Walker would have tried the NBA right out of HS had the new rule not been put in place.
April 14, 200818 yr Walker is the one to blame for not being able to go pro out of high school. Had he been able to graduate on time he would have been able to go straight out in the last year they allowed high schoolers to go. Remember, he didn't make it to K St. until the halfway point that year because of that. If he was out on time, he would have been a first rounder.
April 15, 200818 yr He definatley needs to stay one more year. He may end up on a better team now, but that equals less playing time.
April 15, 200818 yr You're not really thinking he's going to go high enough in the draft to go to good team do you? Or were you saying he'd be early second reound?
April 15, 200818 yr Another year would have definitely helped him refine his skills, but he's got the talent...if he keeps the right attitude and work ethic, he'll develop into a pretty solid player at the least. If he develops, he could be a great pickup for a team later in the first round.
April 15, 200818 yr You're not really thinking he's going to go high enough in the draft to go to good team do you? Or were you saying he'd be early second reound? The worse the team, the higher they pick... So if he's a late 1st round pick, he's going to a better team...
