Williamsburg 11 Harlan 5

Featured Replies

The Yellow Jackets move on in the All A Tournament with a solid win over the Harlan Green Dragons last night. Pitcher Brandon Conlin went all 7 innings. The Jacket bats were hot with hits from Hurst, Moses, Teague, Barton, and R. Moses. Williamsburg will be back in action Thursday night against Cumberland.

Where is the game at Thursday?

Didn't J.T. Shelley and Mark Comparoni each have three hits for Williamsburg against Harlan? I thought there was only one Moses in the lineup when they played us.

Senior Will Moses had not been in the line up. Game is at Cumberland.

The Cejay Jones kid is playing really well too he is pinch running for Comparoni and he started at DH for Middlesboro this kid is definetly freshman of the year material. Good luck wburg the rest of the way.

This is a huge winh after their marathon game Monday. Have they burnt all their pitchers?

Yes, Shelley and Comparoni both hit well against Harlan. Sorry that I left them out earlier. They both played well defensively also.

Will Comparoni hope from college to college like he has from high school to high school?

The reason Comparoni left Middlesboro was because his father remarried and his family moved to Wlliamsburg. I don't know what happened at Whitley but I do know the Comparoni family. They are class people and if Mark felt he needed to transfer from there I can assure you he had good reason. I can also tell you that Coach John Smith, coach at Whitley County, applied for the Middlesboro coaching job 2 years ago as well

as the Bell County job last year and was turned down by both, even though he was born and raised in Middlesboro. May be a coincidence and maybe not. By the way, it's actually spelled hop and not hope.
