^ "IF" Tressel and tOSU get put on probation for any type of recruiting violations during his tenure then I wil blast Tressel as well. I will not leave OSU as a fan, just admit that Tressel has done wrong and should be punished. That has not happened and I doubt seriously if it will.

I agree with you on Coach Carr being a fine man and running a clean program (as far as we know anyway;)). I could accuse him of NCAA violations the same as you are Tressel just bc he was handing our butt's back to us on the field with Cooper and I would have had the same amount of proof that you do............"0".

I really liked and respected Bo Schembechler as well. I enjoyed his and Woody's rivalry. I actually respect the heck out of UM football. How can anyone being a college football fan not respect that whether or not they like Mich. or not? The thing that gets me is that some UM fans cannot respect the Buckeyes sucsess and program as well.

Do I want to beat the crap out of Michigan....absolutely! Does that mean that I hate them....absolutely not! I will pull for the Buckeyes and Joe Pa's Penn State team to beat UM and as for the rest of their games I am really neutral.

Another thing that gets me is how some Mich. fans call tOSU fans "arrogant" and such, kind of like pot meet kettle to me  but whatever. Thanks for playing :walk:.

First off O$U has had great success since Tressel took over that is obvious. Coach Carr was a great man that ran a clean program but the fact is he got soft in his treatment towards the players and his ways. I thank him for all he did for the program but it was time to move on and let a new tradition start. It is funny how "school up north" ,meatchicken", and my favorite one I have heard "scUM" is OK, but if Michigan fans have the same fun and put "O$U", Tre$$el, or "The GA's" it is old. All I have done is post facts that Tre$$el is not the saint everyone is lead to believe and in my personal opinion he will have you guys on probation before he leaves. Yes I do not like O$U and it has nothing to do with the recent success they have had. It is how I have always been and will always be. I hated them just as much during the Cooper era. I am a Schembechler guy that bleeds the Maize and Blue. I am thrilled RR is in town with the in your face attitude Bo had. Ann Arbor is changing and it is a great day to be a Wolverine!

I don't have a problem with the O$U, or Tre$$el or any other good hearted fun jabs between Wolve fans and Bucks fans.

I too am admirer of Coach Carr. One of the absolute most brilliant defensive minds in the history of the game. Was at a coach's clinic and over dinner LC starts drawing out defenses on a napkin and before you know it, there are 15-20 H.S. and college coaches standing around listening. It was if I had gone to the mountain top to seek out the great guru of college football.

But, you are correct he got too soft in terms of discipline. Not necessarily talking about kids in trouble, but just in what he expected of his kids.

He ran a great program that was hardley if ever in the crosshairs of the NCAA.

I don't believe that JT is a snake in the grass as you say, but If I am wrong I'll be the first to admit. Also, I don't believe you can count me as one of those who have said anything bad about RR. As a matter of fact I hope he wins his lawsuit and the other stuff about record stealing made me laugh.

Anyway, go Bucks Beat Blue. And remember it's not personal, it's just bidness.

Don't give a darn for the whole state of Michigan, cause we're from O-hi-o!!!!" ;)

How is this 0-2? But you wanted number 2 so here goes. A simple question. Was YSU put on probation during his time at YSU.

My bad, I thought you made the ref. about Maurice.

The truth be known, I root for MeatChicken every game of the year except one. Because, I want to beat the very best they have.

I do admit however I did get a slight chuckle out of the loss to Appy St.;)

^ I never root for them, except for Carr's last game.

If anything all this talk just makes the rivalry even better.

GO BUCKEYES!

Not sure if Tressell has broken rules at OSU, in fact, until he gets caught I would say he hasn't.

However, he flirts with danger quite a bit. Every knows about Claret and he had questions while at OSU that were largely ignored, then Tressell turned his back on him as soon as he wasn't useful anymore.

More recently, he did the speaking engagement fundraiser at a school in Cincy then received a commit shortly thereafter. That's been borderline questioned since money was raised for the school of a committed player. Then bringing the criminal Patrick Lazear in for a visit after he committed armed robbery and was on house arrest. Apparently he had an ankle bracelet on at the time. Oddly enough, he ended up being recruited by Rodriguez to WVU with all his other criminals.

I am of the belief that where there is smoke, there is fire. However, legally you need proof before launching serious accusations.

Sorry, but allowing him to stay in school on scholarship hardly says "turned his back on him"

MC was a bad egg, no doubt about it. But MC made his own problems. OSU and JT bent over backwords to try and help the young man.

I don't believe he ever made an official visit to OSU. Could be wrong, but.....
