I too will (more then likely) vote for Hillary just to give Obama more grief. Let them fight it out.

Personally I would think with KY being a big tobacco farm state, and Clinton's took on big tobacco and hurt the industry, I would think the farmers would be against Clinton- just IMO...

On actually getting it done with the powerbrokers maybe.

 

But they are going to be all over the networks talking about it and how it needs to be done. And the growing perception among the voters will be the Clintons and her supporters are the only ones standing in the way.

 

So, Hillary will have to understand she is going to take some serious negative heat to not agree to the superdelegate convention.

 

And then when the Dems candidate actually gets selected, you are going to end up with a highly divided Dem party.

I think it was the Politico that ran an article this weekend discussing this, and their argument was that there is no way the Democrats will let a black man win the most votes and tell him he can't run for President. The party would collapse on itself. Clinton will fight it kicking and screaming, but she would get trumped in that instance.

Now, in his defense and as I have posted on here, no one wins unless they can win the South and Obama is better poised to win Southern States with the exception of Florida than Obama.

 

He is the best candidate the Dems can put forward to make a dent in the South because of his race. He could realistically win 3 to 5 states in the South and give the Dems the White House.

Florida, Georgia, and Virginia are the only southern states I could see a Dem winning, but Clinton might take Ky.

 

Add Mississippi and South Carolina to your list. They have the highest minority populations in the south.

Yes and yes.

 

I have had family members that have never voted Republican say they will not vote for a black man to be President.

 

That saddens me that my family would feel this way.

 

Especially since there are very good reasons to not vote for him or her.

 

It also saddens me that they would vote for him and his pro-choice stance but wouldn't vote for him because he is black. Really sad that they care more about the color of his skin than him wanting to uphold the policy to kill unborn children.

Couldn't that go both ways, they won't let a woman run for president? If reversed? I can really see that happening too, with what we have already seen and heard from Bill.

The big difference is that Obama is winning and Hillary is losing. You would be taking the person losing and giving the election to them.

Just think about it... We are being exposed to the preaching that goes on his church, right? And most people rightfully so are feeling very uneasy...

Sorry guys, in November South Carolina will go to McCain. High number of Evangelicals and Veterans, along with many large military bases.
