HC's Ronker was the starting pitcher. He was pitching a great game. Then memories of the 2007 Reds started appearing. Ronker was pulled, pitching a 1 maybe 2 hitter going into the 6th inning. Why he was pulled you ask? I'm asking the same question. Well then Reardon came in and gave up 2 runs. After that Lenihan came in and did a great job closing the game.

Probably so........it must have been a 50 or 60 PC. He was sitting them down as fast as they came to bat. I don't know who started for Dixie.

But I'll take that over Turkeyfoot any day of the week. It's a shame they didn't have the room to put a good size field in there, but the double wall helps. It's just nice to finally see a field on campus.

It's also a shame that there will never be another field like Turkeyfoot. :cry: 210' to dead center. 12' high brick wall with 90 degree corner pointing right at home. Big window a/c units. The outfield grass that resembled a cow pasture.

That was the fun part....trying to run the center fielder into the AC units. LOL
