Wayne lost Duncan and Bristow to graduation. Morrow was never a factor at Mccreary Central plus missing a year to injury is never easy to recover from. Wayne will not be as good as last year. Southwestern will miss Salyers but they still have both Fothergills and Fowler.

:flame:Yes IBALL I made a prediction last year about Connor getting a big girl. I had heard from good sources that a family from Rockcastle County was moving North. It turned out it didnt happen and she stayed at Rockcastle and they won the 12th Region.:flame:

Morrow was one of the best players on the middle school circuit, but never had a coach to get her in at the high school level. Her freshman year, she was basically fighting for time against the player of the year in Lindsey Waters. Pyles will have Morrow as one of the best post players in the region if she can recover from her injury.

I agree with you that Pyles will get the most out of any player. He is the best in the 12th along with Noble and Story.

I dont know what school she is going to. I just know where they are moving to. I work for a company that does business on a weekly basis with where her father works or at least does for another week or so. I have not heard it from him personnally but the people that work for him say he is leaving. I must have been badly informed last year but that was last year. I will miss watching her play for the warriors becouse I am an avidt basketball fan and watch them with several other schools in central kentucky while I work.

So you are saying Stephanie Saylers and her family are all moving to Ohio in two weeks? I am just getting alot of conflicting info on this.

I come on here often just to read about what's goin on, never intended to join, but did so, to make sure the story is straight about some things.

 

I know the Hammond family at Rockcastle very well. I do know that the Hammond girl's dad had laid the ground work for her to transfer to LCA last summer, but it fell through just before school started.

 

I also have learned this summer that she's had a "coming out" summer playing for Blue Chip All-Stars...was MVP of Blue Chip Camp that included several players from 12th region and several of the top players in the state...Alex Jones, Avery Jones, Mathes sisters to name a few.

 

I was told that she so impressed Division One coaches at a tournament in Louisville that she has already been offered a scholarship from the Univeristy of Louisville. I did know, as reported on WYMT, that UK's coach Mitchell had been to see her and has her on his watch list.

 

As to the coming year, they are talented, 8 seniors, but it's the sophomore class, including Hammond that is ready to take the lead. It will come down to team chemistry for them.
