They promised him a chance at the rotation and he will at least get to opportunity at the beginning of the year. Who cares if they throw lefty or righty? I want my 5 best arms in the rotation.

March 11, 200818 yr 8 K's for Volquez tonight. He pitched great tonight, I do not know if he starts the year in the rotation, but he can certainly throw some heat, and could be a dominant reliever. I would also he very happy with him in the rotation. He is pitching GREAT.
