Im not saying she didn't deserve the award. Im just saying just because someone is the best athlete doesn't mean they automatically get the award.

Right, I know what you mean. Maggie has had the more successful team, winning the region for 4 years in a row, but Chambers does so much for her team, and without her, they would definitely not be the same. Great cases can be made for both players.

Deserae Chambers is an excellent player and athlete and Mason County wouldn't be the same without her, but do you think they would be the same with Lacie CLine and Kasey Litzinger?

I think that Chambers would cause the most hurt if she wasn't there, but Cline and Litzinger are definitely a part of their success as well. You could take Litzinger out for a little bit and still remain somewhat of the same team, but without Chambers and Cline, it's a whole different story.

I agree....I would rather have the challenge of stopping Cline from scoring than Chambers if I were a coach.

It's definitely a challenge stopping either of them, but I agree that I would rather stop Cline, as Chambers is awfully hard to stop sometimes.
