No, really what I was saying is, it is unfair to say Campbell isn't very good at all. It get's to be a little boring to keep hearing the same people say the same thing. When the five main things that determine how well a team will do is, pitching, pitching, pitching,pitching, and last but not least is pitching. so a you pitch your ace against another teams #4 pitcher, all things being equal (which they are not always), you should win most of those games. Brossart has had some nice teams, and I would not want to take anything away from those teams, but I think that you have a nice advantage when you have a D-1 bound pitcher for your ace, with a nice team behind him, along with other quality pitchers. I am a Campbell Co. fan, but I appreciate talent where ever it is, and that is what great rivals are all about, I want to beat Brossart when we play them. But if we could end up down state, with a regular season loss to Brossart. Rival games mean very little, except boasting rights in your area

Rivalry games do mean very little except some school pride in your program but I would much rather have a championship over a rivalry any day. But as you said about throwing your ace versus a #4 pitcher, I think that is true to an extent. Versus Campbell Co., Beechwood threw Smith not Elliott and was Campbell's Co. ace on the mound? I wasn't sure because he looked to be very solid but then the Tigers saw him alot and started destroying the ball late in the game.

Pretty cool to see that 3 of the 4 top preseason teams according to the coaches poll are sitting in the final 4. Lawrence Co was the only one not ranked in the top four but they did come in the top 20. Nice job preseason by the coaches!

I think they are the underdog in the Lex Cath game but I wouldn't be suprised at all to see them play with them or beat them. I really feel like they are primed to upset Catholic.
