loubballfan Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 It looks like it's setting up to be Eastern vs Ballard/Jtown for the 7th
tcjkbt Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 It will be in one semi Eastern (27-5) versus the winner of Seneca (13-13) and Moore (9-21). In the other it will be Ballard (20-10) versus J-town (24-5).
inthesuite Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 Seems that way, who are some of their top players?
HSBallFan78 Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 I thought around mid-season that Male might be a dark horse to win the state tournament. Big win for Eastern.
Trojans Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 Seems that way, who are some of their top players? I'm not really sure. But according to the KY basketball yearbook they were projected to start a lof of seniors. I'm sure they are very athletic. I always liked watching Eastern in the past especially when Rajon whas there. Anyway, I am sad to admit I haven't got to watch any Louisville teams play this year. Maybe I'll make it to Louisville on Friday night.
*Jeanie* Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 Eastern is playing great basketball! Agreed with that! Congrats!
Orca1 Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 Some info on Eastern: They start four seniors Aaron Brawner, Dominique Sangster, Darrin Williams(Bellarmine offered scholarship), and All-State football player Steven Ferguson. Delquin Thomas is a soph who starts at guard. Coach is Jason Couch. LIT runner ups They were chosen the 7th best team in their region by coaches in pre-season. Having a great year:dancingpa
