February 29, 200818 yr Its really kind of pathetic that the Morehead News (local paper) doesn't have more stuff in it about MSU sports. They have a legitimate division 1 basketball team in their little town and they choose to cover youth sports and high school sports all the time. Don't get me wrong, I'm all about youth sports and all, but they have to include the university, as well. I don't think the students know what they're missing with the basketball team these days. They ALWAYS give maximum effort and are about as fun to watch as any team I've ever watched. I appreciate the kind of effort that Coach T gets out of his kids.:thumb: What? You don't care that the Lakers of the 4 year old division netted another title this season? :lol: And have you noticed that? Next time you read the "Snooze" be sure to count how many times the word "nets" or "netted" is used in a basketball column.
February 29, 200818 yr It has improved already over last season, but there is still alot of work to be done. I think if we could ever just get the kids there, they would see how exciting these games actually are and be "hooked". Its just a matter of getting them there. I agree.

February 29, 200818 yr I should say congrats to the MSU women's team, as well. They also sealed up an OVC tourney birth with last night's win.
February 29, 200818 yr Congrats to the Eagles, I had to work last night so I didn't get to go to the game. They finish up on Saturday so I may attend that game. Also the whole MSU athletics is doing quite well. Men's and women's basketball..Softball team is 9-0, baseball team beat UT this past weekend I believe. Things are looking up!
