Last year, Preston Knowles.

Knowles' performance last year in the region was a fantastic one. It was a pretty good duel between two good teams, and two good players (Miller).

The game before he put up 20+ maybe 30 on Scott.

I might be biased but it seems to me that the great teams in this region are those from the 'old' school days. 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's. I know that you can argue the Mason county squad from the Lofton era, but it appears that great team play was in years past. The guys that played seemed more fundamentally sound and were more hard-nosed.

Without question, for me it's the '95 regional final between Montgomery and Mason. Double overtime, Billy Ray Fawns, Shawn Myrick....a classic.

1989-90 Dante Gay and Shane Crum

1992 Brian Kiser

Best 10th Region final that I've seen. Two amazing individual performances.

And was it 1991 that featured Jerry Fogle's late-game heroics?

This is my first post, I have the tape of the 1995 game between Montgomery County vs Mason County and have watched it many times and it was the greatest high school game and performance by one individual I have ever seen.

Billy Ray is married to my niece Micah Robinson and they have a beautiful boy by the name of Luke. Billy Ray told me that he still gets booed in Mason county.

Welcome to the BGP family.:ylsuper: If you need any thing just ask any Mod.

Two I would like to forget is 1) the PC overtime loss to Bath Co in the 1st round led by Bobby Lee Wyatt of PC and 2) The 1st round loss to Paris in 1980 when PC had the game won and did not even have to inbound the ball with time expiring. But PC threw it in at about the top of the key where it was intercepted and Paris hit nothing but net as time expired. I am not sure who hit the shot for Paris but it was a heartbreaker for the PC Fans.

The 2000 Regional Championship when Brossart won on a buzzer beater by Justin Seiter. Has to be one of the greatest ever.

The state championship a few years ago when Loften hit something like 9 threes?
