Well, the other teams will need the money that comes from the region. And I am not sure every team is ready to just hand over the Region Trophy.

Should be one of the best match ups in the 16th.

I know at least one team that looks forward to having another crack at Elliott. Ideally, in the final game in Morehead. :lol:

 

 

As far as the Elliott and East game, East matches up physically with Elliott better than most teams in this region. East's guard play is solid, and they have some horses inside. I can see where they could give Elliott fits. It will take four full quarters of intensity and focus, but East definitely has the firepower to pull this one out.

 

That being said, the odds are in Elliott's favor. Depending on how several factors play out, they could even blow East out by 20, but I don't expect it. This will most likely be a single digit game, and I agree with Goldy, it could be a classic.

East does match up well. They , like Elliot, play hard the whole game. I just think Elliott will play a little harder!

People have forgotten, the second game between these two was a 8 to 10 point game for about 30 minutes and East made a push late... Not saying that Elliott will have an easy time... But facts are facts, the first game I think Elliott won by 27. Things I do know..... It will be classic Ky high school basketball at Sandy Hook Friday. Packed gym, fans at full throat, and two teams fighting tooth and toe nail for the right to be crowned district champs. Enjoy!!!!!
