Final.

(wlgc radio reports)

I heard that Russell was down 30-8 at one time in this game. What a comeback! Congrats to the Lady Devils.

I thought I heard where Lewis was up 9 with 3 minutes to play, the wheels must have fell off. Congrats to Russell and good luck through the post season.

Congrats!

The Lady Devils dug a very big hole in the first half. It was a combination of good D from Lewis C., and poor shooting and passing from the Devils. The Lady Devils came out of the locker room at half time and played the best half of ball they have played all year! If they play like that for the rest of their games they will really be hard to deal with.

28-7 at the half, Lewis outscored the Lady Devils 22-0 in the 2nd quarter! Great 2nd half from the whole team, but Samantha Sparks was not to be denied!!! Also, great play from Parsley, who really stepped it up, and Simpson who played with determination and intensity that was much needed! Great win!!!

Congrats to Kidwell and the Lady Devils!!

Congratulations to the Lady Red Devils. This come-back will help them here on out.

Crazy game.

Incredible come from behind win. Sparks and Parsley led the charge. Congrats to Coach Kidwell on one of the state's largest come from behind wins this year I would think.

Especially after they only scored 7 points in whole first half!

Survive and advance........

So true!

I watched Russell play this year when they visited Boone Co. Even though we won the game, I was impressed with Coach Kidwell in the fact that he kept coaching his girls until the buzzer sounded. Coach Kidwell is a class act and has a really good coaching staff as well.

Too bad we cant lure him to our region...:dancingpa

Dont count his team out of contention. His run at going to state (regional play) the last 3 years has been impressive.

BTW, Who are some of the favorites to win the 16th Region this year?

Excellent comeback for the Lady Devils. While Russell has not played well on offense the last few games (credit that to their opponents) they have one of the best defensive teams around. Their defensive pressure was relentless and their kids never stop believing they could win.
