Heard it through the grapevine tonight that Coach Don Daniel has resigned at Rowan. Heard it also may have stemmed from an incident in practice a few days ago. Any details?

Heard but nothing but rumors.

I have details, but out of respect for Coach Daniels, I am not reporting on this on the radio and will not spread it on this message board.

But can you at least confirm he has resigned?

Then why was it necessary to tell us that you had the details?

If he is out who is in? I understand where you are coming from GoRadio.

He will no longer be the head coach at Rowan Co. Coach Zaheri (sp?) will be the interim head coach. At least that is what I have been told from a very reliable source with the Rowan Co School system.

Details were released this morning on the news. Pretty unfortunate situation all the way around. Good luck to Andrew Zaheri as he takes over- he's a super great guy.

How old is Andrew Zaheri? Isn't he pretty young? That doesn't make a difference, I was just wondering if its the same guy I'm thinking about.

Will Zaheri be the first Iranian head coach in KSHAA history?

25 tops. He graduated a year ahead of me and we played together for RC. He's young, but he has a serious talent for coaching.

Do you have a link to the news story by any chance? I would like to read about it.

I just heard it was on the news this morning. Can't find a hard link. Everything is word of mouth at this point. The Morehead News might have it in there in about 2 weeks if you can wait, though.

Yeah, I figure they'll probably update their website in March.
