Does anybody have any stats?

Jonathan Ferguson of Elliott Co proved to me and many others tonight just what a classy young man he is.:thumb: At halftime of the JV game he was shooting when Russell's young team manager ran out on the floor, rebounded the ball and took a shot. Jonathan then continued to rebound and pass the ball out to the young man and let him shoot for almost 5 minutes. Coach Dodd went out on the floor to give the young man a job and thanked Jonathan for his kindness.

 

Jonathan truely has a bright future ahead of him, and I'm not talking just about basketball. I hope his parents were in attendance to witness this.:thumb::fire:

 

I have seen him many times pay ATTN to the young kids around Isonville and all around the County. He is a fine young man with a bright future.:thumb::thumb:

Very nice geture on Fergs part. A lot of kids with his talent would have to big of an ego to do something like that, it just goes to show you what kind of person he is I really wish him the best in his future.

Ferg is a very quite and polite young man who is a role model for all the young kids in the county. He is unassuming and I respect him not for the words he says, but just the way he handles himself. Unlike us on the threads he doesn't have much to say about a particular game. He has the same demeanor whether he has a bad game with 13 points or scores a 40 point game. If you were to ask him something like, "I saw a poll the other day that had you rated one of the top 10 juniors in the state". His response would probably be thats nice, but I don't know about all that. His words on & off the court don't come from his mouth, but come by his play and the polite and courteous manner in which he handles himself. In this day and age of excessive pride and boasting he is a breath of fresh air!!!

I'd like to add one thing here . . . Ferg is supportive of all his classmates sporting interests (academic or physical activity). What a great kid!! :thumb:
