There will be thousands of teams faithful there and its not fair to expect all the students who work hard for the gas it takes to get there and have them watch their fellow classmates win the region championship from some class room, all because some idiotic fans want to cry about "home court advantage". All the crying that I have been hearing has been coming from up the river. Not much crying going on in Mt. Sterling right now, maybe a little gloating.

I don't know, but I am guessing that Montgomery Co. built their gym as big as the state would let them, seeing how the state has to OK everything.

Great! :thumb: Here's a few design tips to keep in mind.

 

1. Make sure there is room to WALK BEHIND the team bench.

2. Put an aisle in the middle of those seats if you choose seats, so you don't have to walk over a row of people to go to the bathroom.

3. The big wall on one end is wasted space. Put seats there.

4. Build it bigger. Then no one can complain about the possibility of not getting a seat..

5. Pretty potty seats are nice if you can get in the door to see them.

 

If you do this stuff then maybe we won't have reason to complain down the road in the future.

 

6. Know somebody in Frankfort with some political influence that will allow you to build it bigger.

 

That may be tough to do though. With the state budget the way it is, I doubt you'll get much support for spending money on making a high school gym bigger when it would probably only be filled up once every four years at most.

Montgomery Co. offers the same if not MORE room for student sections.. I don't see where you are going with this? You are just making yourself look bad. I like your picture though.:thumb:

Thanks...hopefully Montgomery will accommodate for student bodies because they are the ones who matter. There should be no Students in a cafeteria while their teams plays. Fans! if you see a student outside not getting in suck it up you have had your time. let the kids enjoy theres.:thumb:

If the students are that worried about not getting in, do what GRC students have done the past few years.. Get a big group together, leave real early, all get something to eat and be the first ones there to have the best seats in the house.:ylsuper:
