You Know You're From No KY When:

Featured Replies

You know you're from NoKy when despite the fact that Cincinnatians look down their noses at you, you don't find it the least bit ironic when you look down your nose at the rest of Kentucky.

Well said and very true.

If you had spent anytime around Lake Cumberland in the Summer you would know how true this is. :thumb:

Really now? I wouldn't find any examples of this behavior in ... say ... the football forum? :D

I've seen all parts of it. I grew up in Warsaw, which is technically Northern Kentucky, but the folks in Boone/Kenton/Campbell think driving to Gallatin County is on par with snaking up US 421 to Hyden. And I lived in Covington for several years and was around it daily. Not everybody, but a lot of people. Enough to notice it.

That said, I enjoyed my time living in Covington as much as any point in my life.

:sssh:

Beautiful!

To be fair, we look down our noses at people from Cincinnati just as much as people from the rest of Kentucky.

Funny and very true. I am not from here, but have lived here for about 10 years. Most of the things on the list I never said or heard of while living in Louisville. Now that I live here, I am guilty of saying and doing these things lol.

You can find examples from all parts of the state, there are just more NKY posters.

Obviously that's because we can actually afford computers. Not to mention having the electric to power them up and gas powered transportation to pick them up...
