Also, just to let you know, most of the cheap hotels/motels are gone. PCB is looking to get away from the spring break hot spot and redneck vacation spot.

Well we've found a decent place, 169 a night on the strip, we knew going into this we started the process to late so it would be pricey..

What place? The strip essentially goes from one end to the other. Without having to drive to much, you'll want to stay around Club LaVela. If you get too far down either way, you'll more than likely have to drive, which you'll move at a snails pace on the strip at night.

The wife and I used to stay down at the Flamingo Hotel and Tower. It wasn't a bad place, and it was cheap at the time of the year that we went. We haven't been for 3 years, and that last time it was starting to get a little run down. However, it's quite a ways down the strip from all the comotion (sp?).

Holiday Terrace, towards the west end.. Take into consideration we can't "really" check into any hotels that are 21+.. We don't want to get down there and get denied, so we need 18+.

We're looking to go there next month, does it matter where we stay as long as it's on the beach?

It matters a lot! If you want a spring break/party animal atmosphere, go to the west end, down by the county pier. If you want a quieter, more family-oriented atmosphere, keep to the east end. There isn't, technically, a "north" end.

But don't got too far west.

That's a pretty good location. You'll be fine there.

Yeah, that's not too bad. It's right by the Edgewater, and that's pretty classy digs. Make sure you go to Pineapple Willy's and Captain Anderson's for a fancy last night dinner. Okay, those are our own traditions...but highly reccomended! ;)
