It might be the internet connection, but I thought I heard horn before the kid released the winning shot. Hard to tell.

By the way, Bell County has a nice gym.

Tough to make any kind of call on the one at the end of regulation. It's kind of the situation from the Gtown/Nova game tonight. They called a foul 70 feet from the basket. You dont want to decide a game halfway between half court and the three point on line on the other end of the court.

On the game winner, it really did sound like the buzzer went off before he released it.

That being said, I dont believe Bell's clock shows tenths of a second if I remember correctly, so it could have had more than 1 actual second on the clock.

Who made the play there? That was pretty good timing on their part to even make that play. Looked like Wilson but I really couldnt tell.

It's not the internet connection. The buzzer was before the shot. Also there was exactly 1.0 on the clock. The clock had 1.4 and the officials went to the scorers table and had the 4 tenths removed from the clock.

Yes, let's take a look at the Georgetown game, a very light contact foul called with .10 seconds on the clock 75 feet away from the goal compared to this game where there was a heavy contact foul ignored 50 feet from the goal with probably a full second left on the clock, and then to add to it these officials give Bell the bucket at the end of overtime clearly after the horn sounded on a play that if you stopped and thought about for just a bit would realize could not have happened in 1.0 seconds. The combination of these two plays in the same game is just NOT RIGHT and anyone that understands the game knows this. The Cumberland kids I believe are very mentally tough and Will bounce back from this with a lot of class and character and finish the year strong.

The combination of this game and the Pineville game will make Cumberland a very hungry team come tournament time. They are still my favorite to win the 13th region with Knox Central, Corbin, Pineville, Clay Co. and South Laurel right there as well.

If Cumberland continues to find themselves in this position at the end of games, they will have trouble. They should have been winning by a large margin. They will not make it far if this continues. They should have blown this team out. Why was it so close to start with?

Wow. that may be the longest sentence I have ever seen. I would reply but I got lost.

Oh, if it is such an issue, send it to the KHSAA, protest it, maybe you get to play it over if you are lucky. You guys arent getting too much accomplished making youtube videos and talking about it on here.
