This is a game that was re-scheduled because of snow. I hope the Tribe comes focused coming off a tough loss to Mason Co. It would be nice for them to bounce back with a win over a pretty tough opponent in the Flyers.

 

Any thoughts?

Another trap game for Montgomery, Franklin is going to be a solid match up for Montgomery, but I still believe Montgomery has the edge as far as all around guard play....still would be nice to see Stephens step up before he steps across that graduation stage!

Montgomery should win if they can put the loss to Mason behind them. Franklin has a good team so it should be a close game but I say Montgomery by 4.

Both teams have played quality schedules having matched up with top ranked opponents. Haven't seen Montgomery play, but what I understand is that they are one of the best rebounding teams in the state.

 

I expect this game to be a battle. Should be a very good high school atmosphere. I hope Montgomery brings fans. Tip off is at 7:30.

Franklin County has some players and can be dangerous. FC is the home team and Montgomery County doesn't have a large margin for error in winning. I have the feeling that FC will win this one.

Looking at the schedules...looks like Montgomery County has taken care of business, and their only losses are to quality opponents. Both teams have beaten common opponents Clark County and Western Hills. Franklin County is hard to read because they have not yet become consistent. Mostly because they have not played a lot of games or minutes with their starting 5, and this is their first year together. Secondly, FCHS shooting has been inconsistent.

 

I think the game will depend on how well Franklin County can defend the inside without getting into foul trouble. On paper, Montgomery County looks bigger, more athletic and more consistent.

 

I will pick Montgomery County by 10 pts. although I am in the market for some home cooking.:lol:
