What in the world has happened to Rowan County after they beat GRC??

How in the world did Rowan beat GRC?

The final score was 64-45 not 64-55. Lewis played a good game. They played great defense and knocked down some big 3's. They kept Pettit in check all night. Congrats and keep playing with that kind of passion and maybe you can surprise some people come tourney time.

Rowan doesn't have a lot to back up the Pettit kid in the middle. Still surprised by the margin of this one. Congrats to the Lions!

Lewis Co. knocked down many shots in the second half to give them the victory. Both teams came out sluggish and struggled to score early. When Pettit catches the ball more 8-10 feet out, he struggled to score. He is most efficient from 5 feet and in but it appears him as well as the rest of the team shoot free-throws well. Frankie Witten for Lewis has 19 points and Britt with 17. The big (I would hardly consider them very big) men for Lewis Co. did a good job on the defensive end. They made it very difficult for the entry pass to Pettit and forced him to take difficult shots. Let's get a little momentum going into district tourney.

How in the world did Rowan beat GRC?

 

If you had been there you would understand. It was a game where Clark jumped on them quick and then everyone went cold and Rowan

came back and beat them. Big boy hit jump hooks all night and Rowan had a guard that got hot and hit 4-5 threes without missing.Just one of those games.

Mr. March starting early?

Those Lewis boys get after you and if they knock down shots, they are dangerous. Congratulations to Lewis Co.
