February 4, 200818 yr I started feeling a touch of it Friday afternoon, and by the time Saturday morning rolled around, I felt like death eating crackers. Yesterday I backed out of the Super Bowl party and just sat bundled up in front of the TV, alternately freezing to death or sweating like a hog. Today the non-stop runny nose is not as bad (I have three well-used handkerchiefs right beside my desk) and the trips to the bathroom are less frequent. But I've still got the chills alternating with the sweats, and my head and chest are still very congested. I've coughed so much I feel like I did a thousand sit-ups in an hour, and my whole body aches. On the plus side, this could kick-start that New Year's diet.
February 4, 200818 yr Get rid of the hankerchiefs why you are sick. Get a box of Kleenex where you can throw them away. The hankercheifs continues to hold the germ in them especially if you are constantly using it to blow your nose. My wife is always on me about this and when I listen I can usually get rid of what I have. Alot of pneumonia going around so you best be careful and take a lot of fluids. Good luck. JD
February 4, 200818 yr It kicked my rear rather nicely this weekend. I felt horrible. Went through an entire bottle of Nyquil and still have remnants of it. Today mostly headache, hot flashes and cough. Whole body is not aching. Yesterday in church I was sweating during the sermon, hoping it was just the illness and not a sign of my place for eternity, and would I stood for invitation my back popped 3 times.
