Mason County vs. Rowan County Predictions

Featured Replies

This stat and information alone might entice some of the Boys Varsity followers to stay in attendance and get two games for your price of admission. This will be interesting to see!

Hopefully this will intice more people to stay for the girls game, but it seems like whether the girls game is first or second, no one seems interested. It's sad that there is such poor attendance and lack of support for girls teams, but it happens.

Also, is there still talk of bad weather for tonight/tomorrow?

I agree, and some of which jump on here and make predictions and want to talk about about certain things concerning the team when they are the ones that are never at the games and yet still want to form opinions. Here you have a team that has played a brutal schedule, has one of the top players in the state about to reach a milestone yet you look up at places such as Memorial Colesieum where there are two games and there is no one hardly there to support the girls....terrible!

As far as the weather, I believe the heavy stuff in snow is to the north of Cincy. I am hearing rain, snow, sleet mix overnight tonight for our region.

Morehead weather is showing less than an inch early afternoon, so maybe it will be ok by game time.

Well the roads are terrible tonight, and it hasn't even started to freeze yet. I just got home, and the roads are very very slick. If this stuff freezes over night, my prediction equals no game.

Mason County's Desarae Chambers is 11 points shy of breaking Chris Lofton's school record for points scored, according to an article in today's Maysville paper. The article is not in the online version of the paper, otherwise I would post it. As she averages over 20 ppg, chances are better than average that Desarae will break the record Friday night.

Good luck to Desarae and the Lady Royals!

Wonder what Chris would have done if he got to play his 8th grade year?

I'm pretty sure they'll have to call it off by a certain time tomorrow. They can't wait until late in the afternoon to call it off I don't think. Right now it's not looking good.

Well the weather has cleared off down here, so if all is well in Morehead, then this game is a go.

There is a thread about this scoring mark that is already up.

Glad you posted this on a separate thread; it wasn't up when I made my post at 9:17 this morning. Desarae deserves all the accolades that she's getting.

It was fun sitting with her dad at the St. Pat game on Monday.

Hopefully the weather will keep holding off this evening.
