Why dont we just wrap up the 12th reional trophy and send it to Raiders because there is no reason to play the rest of the seaon, none the less hope we get another shot at you at Puaski Co. in the regional.

I guess you also didn't expect McCreary to already be leading by 16 points and Lincoln fouling to get into the game and fouling out of frustration because Watts got into the lane at will.

 

Driving to the lane went to Young from Lincoln Co. b/c I didnt see Watts stop him on defense. That goes both ways but I will bet on Lincoln again when they play, if MC can make it that far. MC played the best game they have played all year, Lincoln played the worst game all year and was in the game at the end. 40 plus foul shots to 16 foul shots was the diff. Yeah I seen Hale hit #5 at halftime with no foul. But for Watts he did not get stop, he had 36 but that game dont get you to state remember that. Lincoln will be ready and I'll see you and PC. That is far fetched. Apparently you haven't seen McCreary at all this year. That was one of the worst games McCreary has played. I don't know McCreary or Lincoln showed their cards in that game. I still think McCreary is the better team.

 

Oh, by the way, how many times was Watts stopped in the lane? They couldn't stop him unless they fouled him. I already said that Young got into the lane untouched - poor defense on McCreary's part. However, Lincoln couldn't handle Watts in the lane and when he would post against Lincoln, they wrapped him up before the ball could ever get to him.

OK I can agree with 1-3 but Lincoln County did go to STATE plus are still high er rated in the STATE and is still the favor to win the region again. MC maybe next year. This is the only big game they have played and the players was looking forward to it Lincoln got beat on the worst game of the year Keeton will not have a bad game again when they meet up if they can beat Southwestern, that was a close game if u remember. LC played the #1 team in the state and should have won if a late 3 would have went in. MC did shot 40 plus fould shots too.

I don't care if they went to state last year. That was LAST YEAR. McCreary beat them LAST YEAR.

 

Well, they didn't beat the #1 team in the state, did they? You have some big "if's"... I could have added that if McCreary would have guarded the three-point shot and Phillips didn't leave in the 4th quarter, McCreary would have beat Lincoln by 20.

 

Who cares if they are rated higher, if we go by what you say, "Polls are good for what?" A statement you made on the prediction thread. If that's the case, McCreary beat a higher ranked team and did so by leading by 16 in the fourth quarter.

 

I could say, "McCreary would have beat the #14 team in the state by 20+ if a few more of their shots would have went down."

SouthernSportsFan it was a nice win for your Raiders so lets move on to the rest of the sason ad not worry about if's and but's becuse we no what that amounts to.

The 12th Region is starting to look like more of a toss-up every night. McCreary did beat Lincoln by 9, but the regional tournament is still to play. After watching Lincoln and Wayne play tonight @ Wayne, it looked as if either Wayne played to the best of their ability, or Lincoln did not come ready to play. Totally different game than the previous match-up between the two at the Bryan Station invitational tournament in December. Not to be biased, but McCreary did beat Wayne by 10+ @ Wayne, and Lincoln escapes by 3 with a missed 3 point fg at the buzzer, which would have sent the game to overtime. Also note that Cody Decker did not play.

Did you happen to watch the game Tuesday night, kyhoops? If so, you would have known why McCreary shot so many free-throws due to Lincoln county fouling at the end of the game to extend the time and give Lincoln more chances to catch up when the Raiders were in control.

 

And yes, McCreary did play a bad game against Southwestern, but Lincoln also barely escaped Wayne County tonite where McCreary beat them by 13.

 

All i can say is, wait until the Region comes around. McCreary will be at Pulaski, and if they play to their full extent, they will also be at Rupp. Go Raiders!:thumb:
