Here in Louisville just show up and play. Can be crowded on wekends. At Beechmont there are 4 tables and on Wednesday morning its not too bad.

I love table tennis. My friend and I in the summer played 18 holes of golf. Then about everyday would go back to his house and play heads up poker, Tiger Woods PGA golf, or ping-pong. Unfortunately we would gamble on all four of those things to add a little competitive edge. However we were evenly matched and never lost to much money to each other.

My last rating was 1757. That was from 04-30-91. I have battled the Guru a few times years past and he has a mean ping pong game and like he said, if you dont have a rating then you're not very good. That doesnt mean that you cannot have fun playing, just be careful who you challenge to a game for cash.
