Outside of playing Male, Trinity, and Shelby Valley I don't think Pikeville's schedule is that tough. The majority of teams they have played are from the 15th. They did step out and play a couple of Louisville teams in the Western Hills tourney.

How about Dobyns Bennett , TN ??????? 4-A .. Best around southeastern TN .... #5 in all TN ..... better than Memphis powers Raleigh-Eyupt, That beat Dorsry (CA) ...... Not easy & will get better .....

Congrats Paintsville I am glad to see you come down to Richmond now let's get Coach Runyon something he has never had an All A State Title.

Pikeville has played a very, very tough schedule. They are 11-7 but the 7 teams that have beaten them have a combined record of around 101-20. I also watched the June Buchanan game and JBS is really only about 10 points better than Pikeville. The final margin was a fluke and a bad case of running up the score. (JBS has a bad history of that.) I think Pikeville has a legitimate shot at winning the 15th!

 

How can you say that JBS is only 10 points better than Pikeville when the final was 46 point spread. I could see 15-18 but not 46.

It was a game between two rival schools with a lot on the line. Pikeville played well and almost pulled off a huge upset but the senior leadership of Paintsville took over and pulled out the victory. Good luck guys at the ALL A.
