For what it's worth, it's nice to see more Gallatin County folks on the board. When I first joined way back when, we never heard a thing about GC (not living in my hometown for several years, I was in no position to comment about things there with the sports teams).

 

Nowadays, the GC threads are some of the more busy threads on the board. Thanks for keeping me and everyone else informed. :thumb:

Good win, Gallatin. It seems like this team has jelled and are playing great basketball. When will Carlton be back for the Wildcats?

I know a handful of the GC posters in "real life," but hope to be able to meet some of the other folks in person in Richmond. Hope GC holds up its end of the bargain.

 

I haven't ruled out heading up to Sawville for the Carroll tilt; haven't seen mom and dad in a few weeks.

Once again Gallatin's inside game dominates Walton. Walton had no answer for Henson down low, and the slashing cuts through the lane of Brown and Maddox. I watched as they doubled down on Henson all night long... so he just dished it up to one fo the other guys slashing down the lane or off the cut. Nice ball movement overall as a team.

Walton just didn't play good. GC took Walton out of their game, and just kept the good "D" on Walton's guards. GC is just a good team. I look to them to take the "All A" and have a great chance to win the 8th region. They are a great all around team. Good luck GC. And Walton, just keep your head up and finish the season strong.

Anyone know why Coach Jones chose to keep his starters in up until 2 minutes left in the game with them up by nearly 30? This was a poor performance from WV and GC definatley did not work hard to win this one..

I didn't think he had all of the starters in together at that point, but I would imagine it was because Walton can go on a 3 point shooting run and it is better to be safe than sorry.
