Shooty Staggs played a great game i think.... and Mofford couldnt buy a shot in the paint but he did have a couple nice Blocks.. How many blocks did he have ???

 

I counted 4 or 5 blocks.

 

Augusta needs a Guard to start hitting or a third post player to step up when one of the big two are struggling.

I felt the turning point in the game was Staggs going out with a pair of fouls early in the second period and not returning, allowing St. Patrick to take a nice lead by halftime. Augusta never regained the momentum to get back in the game after that.

 

Chris Owens connected on some back-breaking 3s in the second half, enroute to scoring 32.

 

St. Patrick is a quality opponent. I'm looking for a great game in the Devildome on Friday night.

As far as the Hargett scoring we did not have Holleran in the computer. Couldnt add with game going fast pace. The line up I have is from first game we played Augusta at Saint Pat. So had to change it after game.

AS far as the spelling for Krebs hard to spell every name you hear on the radio perfectly.

It didn't seem like 11 were shot but I was going by the stats posted by BigBlueInsanity...obviously they are incorrect as Hargett hasn't played and there isn't a Cribbs on the team

 

 

Obviously you had to find a reason to post as neither of the two were factors in the game yet for some reason its important to bring up Hargett, oh I mean Holleran who scored 2 points and Cribbs which should be Krebs. Everyone makes a mistake, yet I can't understand why it has to be made a point of emphasis in a post?

 

Why can't the emphasis and credit be given to two teams that played their hearts out, emphasis on St. Patricks defense fueling a 2nd half push instead of a player that scores 2 points in the scoring column whos name was mistaken for another and another player whos name was mispelled:confused:

I give St Pat all of the credit they deserve and wouldn't take an ounce of deserving respect away from them or any other team for that matter. I think you took my post the wrong way. I was simply stating the fact that the original stats posted could be incorrect since ATownPride and I had different numbers and saw an honest mistake in the spelling of the players names. That alone made me question who's stats were correct but you're right, it doesn't matter. The important thing is that we praise both teams for a great effort. With that being said, I apologize and appreciate anyone who takes the time to post stats.
