2008 Somerset

I have no clue about what is happening in Somerset...I do know that Somerset football is a strong independent school system....Best of luck to the smaller independent Schools...:thumb::thumb::thumb:

Yeah we are so down, we may not show up for half of the games. At least that will give you an easy week of practice, no reason to work on anything during the week of the Somerset game.

 

Come on now Jumer Dad, I know better than that. I have had several encounters with coach Cobb, I know he has something up his sleve. Didn't mean Somerset wouldnt show up, just wont be any 56-0 games on their schedule.

You mean the defense that allowed 28.9 points per game, including 119 in two games against the Jumpers last season? Anyway, I didn't say that Somerset would win the District, just that they'd be okay. It is a weak district without any physically imposing teams or serious title contenders, there may be some solid teams but no Belfrys or Centrals.

 

Nice point. However if you take a look at the roster there was only 1 senior on the entire defense. Seven of the eleven starters were sophomores. This year will be a different story.

I think Garrard will be improved and Somerset won't be as explosive. They do have the potential to have a very good offensive and defensive line and a lot of their young players will suprise you. I think the Jumpers will be in contention for the District Title. Good Luck on the season GCLB34!
