HOMELESS CAMEL Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Final Bishop Brossart 8-6 Pendleton Co 3-8
mhighfield Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Hang in there PC guys and coach simms there will be better days.
bigblueinsanity Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Coach Simms is a good coach and I wish him the best!
Plato Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 With players quiting and losses like this - I hope the coach has some strong administrative support.
Basketballfan08 Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 yea, what a good coach he is!!!! Right. When you tell your players upfront that you are just waiting for the younger players to come up, then if that is what you call a good coach, then go for it..... They had a great linup against Deming and then Fla. and turn around and bench your experienced players for whatever reason, there is a problem. That Feeback and Hardin kid scored like dynamite in those games and he turns around and benches them for his younger (state team, so he thinks) kids and gets beat by 40 by Scott. Yea that is a good coach. Nice anaylisis bigblueinsanity!!!!!

Yea that is a good coach. Nice anaylisis bigblueinsanity!!!!! What an accurate, intelligent, and informed opinion......... The Cats need to hang in there, they will be fine. The guys who are gone were only concerned about themselves instead of the team and had not improved that much in 3-4 years, so why not give the young guys a chance? So, in my opinion, they are far better without them. Sometimes you have to take a step back to take two forward. And besides that, the 38th is WIDE OPEN, Coach Simms and staff will have them playing their best at tourney time and they will be in the mix for a district title.
Basketballfan08 Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Do they even have anyone that can score in double digits now?

When people begin to place the TEAM ahead of themselves, you will maximize your sucess. Addition by subtraction has to occur sometimes. People who are truly dedicated individuals Never quit during a season. It is habit forming.
94 Camel Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Do they even have anyone that can score in double digits now? What was the score of the first Brossart game this season? Was the scoring potential different for the Wildcats before the loss of all these you people who decided to quit?

Was the scoring potential different for the Wildcats before the loss of all these you people who decided to quit? The score of the first game on December 11th was 58-29, so if that team had other players that since left. It didn't make much of a difference, at least against Brossart.

My point was, and still is to the previous poster, that the coaches coaching and the kids playing deserve the FULL support of Pendleton County fans. They are putting in the hours, the work, and the effort. They will improve.

Sharp Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Do they even have anyone that can score in double digits now? I believe Harden has scored double digits several times.
