If there was a thread on this one, I missed it.

I know Scott County is without Mackey, and they have played a tough schedule. But I still find it crazy that they are 8-7...

They have played some of the top teams in the nation. I think they only have one instate loss.

I know that, I know. It's just hard to see. And yes, that's right. They lost to Ballard...

They are in the learning process with a new point gaurd (Gyewn) and moving Hunley to the 3 . It will all work out. They are getting some good minutes :fire:from the bench.

I'm looking forward to seeing them play in person next Friday at the Fieldhouse against the Royals.

They seem to be a team that should be better than what they, I do know the schedule they have played, but it seems like they get "stuck in the mud" at times and really struggle when they shouldn't struggle. That could very well come with everything that happened off the court with Bud before the season started.

Their in-state schedule for the rest of the year is no picnic either. I fully expect this team, whatever their record, to compete for the Region 11 title this season.

This game was closer than the final score, LCA cut it to 1 in the 2nd half. Definatley looked as if Scott was not clicking together on both sides of the court, this may be a good thing, as long as they do start clicking come tournament time. Early foul trouble kept Gyewn on his tail most of the game. Look for LCA to make a run in the All A, not sure if they can beat UHA or Elliott, but they are definately one of the top A schools in the state.
