16th should be wide open this year. Some Russell pitchers have been working their tales off all winter long. Be interesting to see how well they do!

Just makes me wonder which ones will be having their district tournaments at NKU. The main reason why I ask this is because when Holmes hosted the old district, it was at NKU. When Highlands hosted it last year, it was at NKU. Heck when just about anyone from the old district hosted it, it was held at NKU.

 

I wouldn't mind having 2 district tournaments to work plus a regional. LOL. That is all speculating if they do many any to NKU.

NCC would like to have it at NKU, The regional is at Dixie I think they may want to have it at NKU but they have a new field and may want to host it there.

Montgomery County in the 10th Region looks pretty stong. They have several returning players and I think 6 or 7 seniors.They have a pitcher who is a sophomore Paige Compton who is throwing the ball great with alot of control and great speed,she has alot of junk pitches as well.They have a senior pitcher KK Oaks and a Freshman pitcher Erin Charles who are both looking very good.They went to the state tournament last year and I think they will be there again this year.I don,t know what Scott County has this year they lost a good pitcher in Jordan Blair when she graduated.

My guess is you will see the Holmes/NDA/HC/BW district at NKU if at all possible. The only other possibility would be if they host it at FOPA.

Lindsey went to Georgetown but she is not playing any sports.Jenne is doing great she is going to be fine this year she has been conditioning with the team I think?

Who is the on top to start the year ? Ryle should be near the top simply because of Kirsten Allen .Who else returns alot and who can step up to compete for state ?

Ryle has more returning than some think. Not sure of the names, but they had a few sophomores who contributed last season.

Walton-Verona has possibly one of the top 8th graders in the

8th region if not in the state. She hit well over .400 in 2007

and won 8 games pitching with a low ERA. By the way her

name is Jenalee Ginn. Any thoughts?
