I understand that Daviess Co. beat Boone tonight 77-73. Was Boone ranked in the state? Is this a upset. Daviess is good I have seen them a few times and what is scary about is they play alot of underclassmen

If this needs to be in a seperate thread from this thread, please put in where it belongs. I just know it is part of this tourney, but I posted before reading the Mods advice. Sorry:confused:

Boone is ranked 4th in the 9th region. They are 8-2 now. They were without their best player tonight (6'5" McFarland) because he had a sprained ankle. They lost 77-73. They were up by 3 at half. They had a size disadvantage with McFarland out. I think McFarland would have made a 10-15 point difference. Boone started 4 sophomores and played them most of the game. Daviess had good size across the board. How many sophomores do they start?

They have 3 soph. on the team, but start sometimes only 1. They do play 3-4juniors quite a bit. and a couple of seniors play quite a bit as well.

This is totally off the subject in a way but did anyone read the thread title? Wasn't Lloyd Christmas the guy in Dumb and Dumber? Is this tourney named in honor of him? :jump::lol:

Boone Co. typically starts 1 senior and 1 junior. They have 3 seniors and 4 juniors on the team. They dressed 7 sophomores last night, and 5 of them saw a lot of action. The J.V. team has at least 5 more sophomores.
