Nice win for the Cats.

A win is a win. Both of the Trimble Co. fans there tonight did get to see the Raiders out score the Cats in the 2nd half.

Maybe there was more than 2 but there sure wasn't many fans for either team tonight.

I was pleased to meet BigCountryBoy and Gatorfan tonight. :thumb: I also saw Teammomaholic from a distance...hope that you get to feeling better!

Funtowatch, I think that there were more than two TC fans there tonight...not tons, but a few more. ;)

TB&G it was a pleasure meeting you. Looked like to me the Cats came out flat to start the second half.

Good to see Gallatin still going strong! Big game against Sk coming up! Good luck guys!

I believe the Wildcats will keep on rolling against the big boys as well. They seem to have it all together.

Right.. just like the Scott Co. game...over their head!

Is that really necessary ?? If i am not mistaken, Scott Co. has nothing to do with the topic of this thread.

Let's say it will be interesting at best. Gallatin Co. just doesn't have the horses to compete with the big boys. They've got a nice class A team and will do well there. They play hard but in the end the big guys will prevail!!!!

Maddox might be one of the best point guards around but seems to play inside and get knocked around then gets cheap fouls in the games I've seen. I'm not close to the program so I'm not sure why he's not out front where he can see the floor and run the team?

It was nice meeting you, too! An unexpected suprise.

After playing limited minutes the first 2 games because he was coming back from a football injury Maddox has scored 19, 20, 23, 13, and 24 (19.8). Heck, if he wasn't getting knocked around he may be leading the state in scoring.;)

He is good but not that good. GC will have their first challenge this week against SK. Well see how good they really are. I hope they get a win because I always root for the little guy. I think that we will see what they are a good class A school. Not the best in the state but the best in the 8th for now.

They definitely have their work cut out for them the next week and a half. After this weekend's games (at Anderson on Saturday) they play in the Lloyd tournament. I know they are in Holmes' half of the bracket, but would have to beat Villa Madonna and Lloyd/Conner winner to get there.

BTW, the comment on Maddox leading the state in scoring was tounge-in- cheek. Just trying to dispel the myth that he gets knocked around.
