Highlands looked fantastic and probalbly the most physical team up here! Coach Schlarmen did a great job by switching on the picks set by NCC to try to get the shooters open. When you keep Lipscomb from not scoring you'll beat NCC everytime. Simpson and McGraw can flat out play. Simpson could've had 30 if he wanted!!

Back to the thread. Nice win for the Birds. Kowolonek is going to be a special player. Simpson and Mcgraw already are.

I agree Malachi. I watched Kowolonek tonight in their win over Lakota East and he was very good. Leaps out of the gym, has a very nice shot off the dribble and drains the open 3 at will. He must have had 15 tonight for the Birds. The Birds now have 3 scoring threats which is much improvement from only 1 last year. Add McGraw in there with Kowolonek and it will keep the Birds in the hunt. I also like the Watson kid as a sophomore. He is big, athletic and has nice control. If he can grow another 2 inches by next year he will be a very nice big man in NKY.
